Art Break Month

Take an art break. Every day for 30 days.

Watch what happens.

We think you’ll like it.

Art is Moving believes in the positive power of art. Just like eating right and exercising, making art a part of your daily life will make that life a better one. And, better people make a better world. So, what’s not to like, right? Art helps us connect with ourselves and connect with others. We can use art to work through stress and anxiety.

Take a breather, take an art break, and see what happens.

Seriously, dedicate 30 minutes each day for 30 days to taking an art break and feel the positive impact of art. Or course, Art is Moving is here to help. We’ll send you daily ideas to get those creative juices flowing. Making art a part of your daily life is easier than you think.

Our Art Break Month Story

For several years, during the month of September, Art is Moving would not only celebrate Art Break Day, but would also facilitate an Art Break Month. Every day participants would receive an Art Break Idea in their inbox to use as inspiration to create art that day. A community was created around the shared “theme of the day” as participants shared their creations with us and the rest of the participants.
